Working at Heights Certification Training


This course is designed to introduce workers to Working at Heights Equipment and Fall Prevention. It is broken down into two Modules. The Theory, which cover foundation knowledge, and The Practical, which covers, advanced knowledge combined with a detailed ‘Hands-On’ component.

Training includes:
  • Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) "Green Book" Regulations pertaining to Construction Sites and Projects in Ontario Workplaces
  • Rights and Responsibilities
  • Working At Heights Responsibilities
  • Recognizing Fall Hazards
  • Eliminating Fall Hazards
  • Fall Protection System Components
  • Inspecting Fall Protection Equipment
  • Anchors and Lifelines
  • Ladder Safety and other Access Structures
  • Guarding
  • Emergency Rescue and Suspension Trauma
  • Calculating Total Fall Distances
  • Fall Arrest Planning, and more

Refresher Training is required after 3 years from original training date.
